There is a new service that will be available very soon: The “new” ranking report that will be in 2 versions:

• The free version that is sent quarterly to all CiaoWeb Premium Hosting subscribers, it will show your website ranking for a selected phrase or search query on the three major search engines, Google, Yahoo and Bing. Eg: if you run an Italian restaurant in Cardiff it will be very useful to know how you are positioned on search engines for “italian restaurants in cardiff”
• Alongside the ranking report all subscribers of the CiaoWeb Premium Plan get a detailed Google Analytics monthly report sent at the beginning of each month. Please note that GA is not about ranking it shows you the traffic your site is getting from search engines, and what keywords bring traffic to your site so you can update your site accordingly giving emphasis to those keywords that can make you money.

The paid version that cost £10.00 per month will allow you to get the following (You can subscribe to this service even for websites not hosted at CiaoWeb):

• Six detailed monthly ranking report that are uploaded by FTP on my server in HTML format:

1. Keyword Rank
2. Overview Report
3. Search Engines Rank
4. Top Sites Report
5. Visibility
6. Website Ranking Report.

• Up to ten different search queries to monitor.
• A list of up to 3 of your competitors websites to compare your website with. So you’ll be able to analyze your competitors website SEO to find out what they did to be there and try to overtake them. I will post soon some screen shots.
• A scheduled backup service on a monthly basis that will send a full backup of your site to a remote server so if the worst happen and your site is hacked, or because of a server failure or in case you install a badly made plug in that break your site…no worries, I can restore your site as it was before the incident using the latest backup. This service require WordPress.

In my previous newsletter I mentioned about two new Premium services on their way, a simple newsletter and a chat room for your site, there will be a specific page on my website where I am going to list all new services that you can buy to enhance your website. What email service to choose?

Many of my clients know that I use and love Gmail and not only because is very reliable but also because it allow businesses to use the “send email from” feature to display their own business email address in the from field instead of the “Gmail” one. In simple words, Gmail allow you to use their servers putting your own business email in the from field the one that your customers/clients will see when they get your emails. I used to use Outlook 2007 that’s a computer based email solution but after a major computer crash with loss of data and so important emails lost forever I decided to switch to a web based email service where I can access my emails from any computer and from any location  whenever I need it.

Price increase in 2012

From January 2012 there will be a price raise of the starting fee for basic WordPress sites that will increase from £295.00 to £395.00. Regarding the CiaoWeb Hosting plans they will be modified as follow:

• The Personal Plan will increase from £30.00 to £60.00 per year
• The Small Business Plan will be discontinued
• The Premium  Hosting will increase from £120.00 to £180.00 per year and will be renamed “Premium Plus”
• The Sole Traders Online website package deal will also increase from £120.00 to £180.00 per year and will use the CiaoWeb Premium Plus hosting plan.

Affiliate Program

This is something that is worthy mention all the time: Any customer who has subscribed to any of the CiaoWeb Hosting packages get automatically the affiliate status, that’s mean that if you introduce to CiaoWeb a new client that subscribe at least the CiaoWeb Premium Plus plan that cost £180.00 per year you will get a “whole year” of your subscription plan free of charge starting from the next renewal date.
